Latin American electronic music continues to surprise us with new releases full of innovation and social awareness. This May we present three artists with new proposals full of fusion and emotion:
The young Argentine artist presents “Plástico”, the first preview of her upcoming EP “Ultravioleta”. This rap track with analogue/digital electronic music and Afro-Latin roots rhythms addresses the issue of plastic and environmental pollution with strong and vengeful lyrics. The track was co-produced by Argentinians Carlo Juranccelli and Ramiro Jota. Mixing was handled by DJ Raff and mastering was done by Chalo González.
The project of Nicolás Estany invites us to reflect with his new track “Caresses That I No Longer Remember“, an emotional journey in his experimental electronic music. The artist, who lives in Poland, tells us “I recorded the clip on a rainy day, very cold and with many unforeseen events, but with a spectacular group of people. The funny thing is that I met them only once, but the connection was there immediately, and they agreed to be in a video”.
Chilean musician Jorge Barahona resumes his activities with the release of two remixes. One is “Mundo Salvaje” (version in the hands of musician Oscar Hauyon), released a few weeks ago. The other is “Golpistas” (a collaborative work with the project Lluvia Ácida). Both will be part of a new EP which will be titled “Remixes Salvajes“.
