We highlight the C / VVV presentation in the context of the event “Voltages Aleatoreos”, meeting of practitioners and lovers of synthesizers and electronic instruments, December 2019.
C / VVV is a collaborative musical project of electronic improvisation and dance music from analog and digital devices, currently made up of musicians Mika Martini, Pablo Flores and Francisco Pinto.
The project started in 2011. His first presentation took place at the inaugural concert of the historic concert “Noche Blanca” Carried out in 2011 in the Contemporary Art Museum , as part of the XI Electroacoustic Music Festival Ai-Maako . Also noteworthy are his presentations at the XI Biennial of Media Arts, Silver Apples Festival in Chile, Microfestlabel, Womad 2017, Sound & Visual Session “Radiaciones de Fondo: flujos y estados”, Recreo Festival 2020, among others.
In 2015 they released their first album, “Todo no es todo”, On the Jacobino Discos netlabel, which won the Pulsar Award in the Electronic Music category in 2016. In 2019 they released their second album,”Gracias por nada”, under the Pueblo Nuevo label.
“Voltajes Aleatorios arises as a palliative to our fever and passion for synthesizers, their electronic synthesis processes and the wide range of formats for sonic experimentation and musical production at our disposal. In this way, the meeting is proposed as a platform for dialogue, interaction and exchange of various practitioners of modular synthesis and synthesizers in order to share a common space-time. Random voltages unifies in two days the cultists of vintage synthesis, analog and / or digital synthesis media for sound experimentation and music production, as well as various modular and semi-modular synthesis formats (Serge, Buchla Eurorack, etc. ), circuit bendig, patch blocks or other synthesis and art formats in which sound experiments are deployed with the use of multiple technologies ”.
