Persona RS is the solo project of Chilean producer Roman Sebastian, a prolific musician who is a member of MKRNI, Roman & Castro y Follakzoid . His work has been released on labels such as Get Physical, Sacred Bones, Multi Culti y Roam Recordings. Has collaborated with Jorge Gonzales, Nomi Ruiz y Javiera Mena and has also been part of productions of Dave Gahan, Jim Jarmush and Fable, among others. It has been featured in Boiler Room, Elsewhere, Desert Daze, Dekmantel, Crown Capital, Bahidorá, Future Terror Tokyo y Lollapalooza CL . Here, by the hand of HEARec , presents its latest release.
As HEARec, we are pleased to present HEAR0047 “Crisálida”, a hypnotic journey proposed by Persona RS with two collaborations with Mijo y Reelative and a remix of Amanda Mussi.
This EP is the result of a lot of work and an excellent relationship that we have been able to develop at HEARec with Persona RS, from the remix he did for Sex Kino last year.
We haven’t had a techno release in a while, as we haven’t been focused on that genre all of 2020. Techno is the genre that saw us born as a label so we are very careful with what we put out when it comes to techno. We are very happy to have a techno EP on HEARec that is of such quality, with collaborations with artists we admire and a perfect remix by Amanda Mussi. We thank Sebastián for entrusting us with this EP.
We also have Persona’s vision about their EP: “Crisálida EP has a special freshness since it is a compilation of collaborations and tracks that had been loose; At the time of reviewing the mixes they were hardly modified from their original jam. I think that fluidity and detachment can be felt, more than anything else it is a display of tools for the different phases of a metamorphosis ”.
